Version 20.0.1 Release Notes
About the Collection Cards

Minor Changes

  • Added the Tattered Binder artifact component as possible loot in quests.

  • The Collection Score button in the profile card will now open into the Collection Book selection screen instead of the Item Collection.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an issue with the Collection Score being wrongly inflated by the Card Collection Score. The intended behavior, where only one instance of the card per quality would give collection score, will now be applied.

  • Fixed inconsistencies with Collection Book statistics.

  • Fix an issue with the Sondra Collection Card not providing the intended bonus. It will now properly provide a reduction to Fusion Time.

  • Fixed an issue where the bonuses from Beatrice’s Collection Card weren’t applied properly.

  • Fixed an issue where up to three of the Worker bonuses from Collection Cards were applied. Now only the primary worker’s bonus will be applied to crafts.

  • Fixed an issue where Card Collection Score did not contribute to the "Grimar's Rival" achievement.

  • The “Open Pack” button will no longer display in the Collection Card Pack info menu when you have no packs.

  • Fixed an issue where Superior Packs were not counted towards the "Mega Pack!" Content Pass task.

    • For reference, Mega Packs, Superior Packs, Flashback Offers, Anniversary Sale Offers and Black Friday Sale offers should all count towards this task.

  • Fix an issue with the Collector’s Piece blueprint where its Essence resource cost was abnormally high.

  • Removed the Mundra's Spite affinity from the Four Wyrms Mace, Dragonwood Bow, Pyroclastic Crown blueprints as this Spirit cannot be crafted.

  • Fixed an issue where we had missing textures in the early parts of the game.

  • Fixed an issue where the night time lighting was enabled in places where the night does not usually fall.

About the Collection Cards

First of all, thank you for joining us for the high-octane release that was our 6th anniversary! Every year, we are thankful for all of you being here for the ride.

We’ve been listening to your feedback. The Collection Cards feature was always meant as a simple new layer of collection, showcasing art of the characters you know and love. However, it was clear on release that we had dialed the slow-grinding aspect of the feature too far. We have the following actions planned for the immediate and near future to address the most common feedback.

For 20.1 (releasing in early July)

  • Duplicates of cards you receive now also give Card Shards, in addition to card XP.

  • Introducing a Fusion Recipe to craft a Common Collection Card Packs, using Card Shards as the primary ingredient.

  • Collection Card Packs can now drop from the Piggy Bank and be purchased from the Fortune Zone Store.

  • Add an initial reward step for the Chase Cards.

  • Increase the drop rates of Chase Cards.

If you’ve already received duplicates of cards, the Card Shards will be retroactively added to your inventory when the 20.1 update drops. If you happen to have already mastered every single collection card, you can still hold on to your packs and Card Shards! There will be more cards added to the collection over time.

We also wanted to address some recurring concerns that have been floating around the community for a while about the future of Shop Titans. While we cannot elaborate much on what we are working on (for now!), we wanted to reassure you that Shop Titans is here to stay. While it’s true we at Kabam Montreal are working on other projects, those are separate teams, doing new things. We have no firm release date for these projects as of yet, but stay tuned for more updates!
