Transcendence Seals

We found stardust and made Starforged Blueprints. It seems our crafting journey can only lead us beyond the stars! Introducing Transcendence Seals. You can use this new currency to unlock powerful boosts for your blueprints, and even add extra stats on them! To use Transcendence Seals on an item, it needs to be fully Ascended first. A Transcendent Blueprint is the pinnacle of crafting, and will boost your adventurers to new heights!

Transcendence Seals’ primary source comes from the Nullysium, a new Flash Quest. Fair warning: it’s our toughest yet! The seals also have some small chance of dropping from Terror difficulty Tomb of Titans quest rewards.

New Flash Quest

As mentioned above, the new Nullysium Flash Quest will be your primary source for obtaining Transcendence Seals. This Flash Quest is very tough and only the strongest will succeed.

The first iteration of this quest will start on July 18th and run for a duration of two days, and every 14 days thereafter.

Blessed Lantern Boosters

The Tomb has opened its curse-laden doors for nearly a month already, but echoes of the horror it holds has reached our ears. We’ve put Freyja on the task of protecting adventurers who enter, and she came up with Blessed Lanterns!

Blessed Lanterns act as boosters and weaken the Curse effect of the Tomb of Titans. Much like other boosters, they come in three variants and can be acquired as loot from Tomb of Titans quests, as well as Tomb-Bound Chests.

Naya’s Beachapalooza Community Event

Starting on July 24th and running until July 30th, Naya is hosting a beach party and everyone is expected to pitch in! Gather wood and refreshing implements to build a stage and beat the heat! The grand prize includes a brand-new beach poster of Gorza!

Summer Sidewalk Sale Content Pass

The Summer Sidewalk Sale Content Pass will start on July 17th and run until August 2nd. It features summer-themed antique content, such as Iced FlavorPop blueprint, Radical Waverider blueprint, Slathered Slippers blueprint and plenty of decorations!

Balance Changes

Hero Slots

The level required to unlock several hero slots has been reduced.

• Hero Slot 7 has had its level required to unlock reduced from 25 to 23.

• Hero Slot 8 has had its level required to unlock reduced from 27 to 26.

• Hero Slot 10 has had its level required to unlock reduced from 33 to 32.

• Hero Slot 12 has had its level required to unlock reduced from 40 to 38.

• Hero Slot 13 has had its level required to unlock reduced from 42 to 41.

• Hero Slot 15 has had its level required to unlock reduced from 50 to 47.

• Hero Slot 16 has had its level required to unlock reduced from 52 to 50.

• Hero Slot 17 has had its level required to unlock reduced from 54 to 53.

• Hero Slot 18 has had its level required to unlock reduced from 60 to 56.

• Hero Slot 19 has had its level required to unlock reduced from 64 to 59.

• Hero Slot 20 has had its level required to unlock reduced from 68 to 63.

• Hero Slot 21 has had its level required to unlock reduced from 72 to 67.

Heroes

The costs and/or level required to hire certain heroes has been reduced.

• Samurai, Ninja and Spellblade have had their level required to hire reduced from 46 to 41, their cost for Gold reduced from 2.5 million (2.5M) to 1 million (1M), and their cost for Gems reduced from 500 to 450.

• Berserker, Dancer and Geomancer have had their level required to hire reduced from 53 to 48.

Quest Areas

The costs and/or level required to unlock certain quest areas has been reduced.

• Aurora Caves has had its level required to unlock reduced from 15 to 10. Its cost for Gold has been reduced from 25000 (25K) to 5000 (5K) and its cost for Gems has been reduced from 250 to 125.

• Whispering Bog has had its level required to unlock reduced from 22 to 20. Its cost for Gold has been reduced from 100000 (100K) to 50000 (50K) and its cost for Gems has been reduced from 500 to 250.

• Sun God's Tomb has had its level required to unlock reduced from 38 to 35. No changes to its costs.

• Chronos Ruins has had its level required to unlock reduced from 46 to 40. No changes to its costs.

• Haunted Castle has had its level required to unlock reduced from 52 to 50. No changes to its costs.

Tomb of Titans

• The top-end (depths 40 and above) difficulty scaling of Tomb of Titans has been increased.

• Reduced the quantity of Wyrmbane Cannonballs found within the Tomb of Titans.

• Added Blessed Lanterns to the loot pool for Tomb of Titans. The tier of lanterns that can drop depends on the difficulty you're challenging.

• Added Transcendence Seals to the loot pool of Terror difficulty Tomb of Titans.

• Two new Tomb-Bound Chest blueprints, the Tomb Staff of Doom staff and Shroud of the Underking cloak, have been added. Available starting with the Tower of Titans on August 2nd.

Other Balance Changes

• Increased the Herbs required to craft Lethal Petal Robe from 180 to 485. Its 4th crafting milestone will also now reduce Herbs by 97 instead of 36. 

• Reward 54 in the Collection Book will now award 1000 Ascension Shards instead of 250 for the normal reward, and 500 Ascension Shards instead of 100 for the Royal Merchant reward.

  • If you've already claimed this reward, you will be awarded the difference automatically after logging into 26.7.

Minor Changes

• The skill of the Tomb-Bound Spirit has been changed to always be active, and its effects are doubled when in the Tower or Tomb of Titans. We also fixed an issue where the spirit affected all items instead of only the enchanted one.

  • Tomb-Born Malevolence now provides 20% increased Equipment Stats. This effect is increased to 50% for items with Tomb affinity (such as the Unearthed Blade). 

• The icon for Royal Merchant has been visually changed.

King Schedule

The King will return as a Guest Champion from July 20th until July 23rd.

Event Schedule

• The King's Caprice event will start on July 16th, running for seven days.

• The Dragon Invasion event will start on July 30th, running for five days.

• The Lost City of Gold event will start on August 7th, running for four days.

Webstore Updates

Webstore Reward Track

The webstore now has a reward track offering up bonus rewards when you reach certain webstore point milestones. This reward track currently runs every two weeks, after which progress is reset and rewards can be re-earned.

Earn webstore points by purchasing offers on the webstore. Point values will be displayed directly on each applicable offer and once you reach enough points for a reward milestone you can claim it directly from the reward track — be sure to claim any rewards before the track resets!

The first reward track will begin the following Monday (July 20th) after the 26.7 update releases.

Three new bundles in varying quantities for Transcendence Seals are now available, only on the webstore!

Notable Bug Fixes

• Fixed pet customizations showing up as a pink square in the King's Caprice Antique Store.

• Fixed Tomb Curse modifiers not displaying in the Quest Setup screen when in Portrait mode.

• Fixed the name of Pearlescent Keys not displaying properly when plural.

• Fixed an issue where the Tier 16 Heavy Footwear Advanced Research was not unlocking properly.
