Flash Quests

Flash Quests are a new category of quests featuring remixed monsters and rewards not normally found in quests. Unlike regular quests, each is only available for a single day each month, and only allows a limited amount of attempts, success or not!

Here are the Flash Quests you can look forward to, roughly listed in order of availability and difficulty. Keep in mind that Hard and Extreme variants can pack a punch!

Despite the dates shown below, the first Flash Quest available will be Anubis Champion on the 28th. This is to allow every player a chance to patch the game without missing out!

Scholarly Harpy

This particularly erudite (but not literate) Harpy has an ample collection of Research Scrolls to plunder from! She probably won’t miss them.

This Flash Quest is available on the 14th of every month, starting at level 20.

Training Instructor

No Hero will be found slacking during the Instructor’s drill! Defeating him will reward ample Hero XP and also has a chance to drop Boosters or Hero items, such as seeds.

This Flash Quest is available on the 8th of every month, starting at level 23.

Mushgoon Graverobber

A myconid with a knack for keys. This guy can carry keys from a bunch of different bosses, sometimes even dropping more than one!

This Flash Quest is available on the 24th of every month, starting at level 25.

Cyclops Merchant

Competition is fierce in the world of merchants. Raiding this Cyclops’ supplies is guaranteed to drop a bundle of equipment!

This Flash Quest is available on the 12th of every month, starting at level 28.

Troublin Pirate

Troublebeard be hoarding chests! The lawless high seas claim that the victor gets the spoils, so look forward to bundles of chests!

This Flash Quest is available on the 20th of every month, starting at level 30.

Runestone Golem

This drab variant of the golem is composed entirely of Runestones and is guaranteed to drop a bunch of them to help your enchanting. As Runestones are considered components, Loot Bugles are enabled for this quest!*

This Flash Quest is available on the 16th of every month, starting at level 34.

Moonstone Golem

This shimmering, magical variant of the golem is composed entirely of Moonstones and is guaranteed to drop them. It’s a good idea to stock up before the next full moon! As Moonstones are considered components, Loot Bugles are enabled for this quest!*

This Flash Quest is available on the 10th of every month, starting at level 35.

Gold Golem

The classic golem of LCOG fame! Unlike his event brethren, this one drops Golden Artifacts and Opulent Jewels! As they are both considered components, Loot Bugles are enabled for this quest!* We are currently looking into letting it ignore your maximum component stack size.

This Flash Quest is available on the 2nd of every month, starting at level 38.

Toad Sage

This Tower of Titans squatter seems very adept at enchantments. While evicting him from the premises, consider helping yourself with the guaranteed bundle of Enchantments he will drop!

This Flash Quest is available on the 4th of every month, starting at level 41.

Anubis Champion

Secretly a nerdy collector and big fan of the Champions, he would never turn down an opportunity to battle one of them! And probably drop some Champion Coins too!

This Flash Quest is available on the 28th of every month, starting at level 44.

Troublin Blacksmith

Possibly the source of all Repair Kits, this Troublin works tirelessly in the Magma Forge of the Cinderlake Volcano. Defeat him to score some Repair Kits! As a bonus, items will never break during this quest.

This Flash Quest is available on the 18th of every month, starting at level 47.

Cyclops General

Much like the Merchant variant, this Cyclops is packing bundles of equipment. Unlike him however, all of his stuff is guaranteed to be exotic (e.g premium, pack and chest blueprints).

This Flash Quest is available on the 26th of every month, starting at level 52.

Sigil Ninja

This elusive Yeti has a particular affinity for the shiny Sigils, particularly the True Sigils. Prove yourself worthy and claim some of them for yourself! As Sigils are considered components, Loot Bugles are enabled for this quest!*

This Flash Quest is available on the 6th of every month, starting at level 54.

Ancient Crushtacean

In the deepest depths of the Cinderlake Volcano resides a mighty Crushtacean watching over a hoard of Ascension Shards. They won’t be easy to steal, though!

This Flash Quest is available on the 22nd of every month, starting at level 56.

*Loot Boosters have been disabled for Flash Quests that offer no components, as they would otherwise be wasted.

Balance Changes

  • Customers will no longer generate Energy when looking at decorations if the counter is blocked.

King Schedule

The King will be available as a Champion from March 6th until the 9th.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed Tyrant Plate Armor having the Tailor as its primary worker instead of the Blacksmith.

  • Fixed a bug where Fresh would sometimes not be properly applied on Food after rushing the craft.

  • Fixed a few item types missing their “donation available” collection book icon under some circumstances.

  • Fixed the big green toaster button (e.g Daily pig, Dragon Invasion) having an inaccurate clickbox.

  • Fixed a rare case where Male shopkeepers would play animations for customizations they aren’t wearing.

  • Fixed an edge case where users could provide negative (!) Power to Dragon Invasion by modifying Champions after they were assigned to the Airship.

  • Fixed a Crushtacean familiar bug causing it to slide out of shops after being purchased.

  • Fixed the Full Moon event window also having a hidden button leading to Dragon Invasion info.

  • Item list now properly updates when disenchanting items from the market screen.

  • Purchase confirmation prompt now actually uses the offer’s name instead of the subtitle, no doubt sparing Tristan a few headaches.

  • Further fixes to event leaderboards.

  • Fixed market sometimes allowing values 1 gold above max.

  • Fresh Spirit bounties will no longer generate.

  • Fixed issue where worker packages purchased during Black Friday would still appear in the Store.

  • Fixed display issue on some packs where Blueprints improperly displayed "x1".

  • Fixed a game freeze when looking at the iOS notification center.
