Dragon Invasion Update
Version 10.0.0 Release Notes

Dragon Invasion Event

The prosperity of the city has not gone unnoticed. In ancient caves far, far away, dormant eyes flare with malice and take to the skies to attack! The dragons are coming!

As the dragons have their greedy eyes set on the King’s sizable fortune, all guilds are summoned to defend the city! Team up with your guild and assist the Airship in its seven assaults with your best Heroes and equipment to tackle this fire-breathing menace!

Dragon Invasion is a major event spanning a full week. It fills the gap between Tower of Titans and Lost City of Gold and was specifically designed to be less intense in terms of player input, allowing players to continue working towards other goals, such as mastering items or making profits. In fact, an adequately prepared player can provide a major contribution with even one short session per day.

The Dragon Invasion event will begin on June 30th at 11am EDT and end on July 7th (also 11am). Don’t miss it!

*Please note that the Dragon Invasion Event Leaderboard will not be available during its first run.

Dragon Invasion Basics

With the dragons flying high in the sky, the only way to challenge them is to take to the skies ourselves! Only the Airship can accomplish this, but it must be supplied with crew and equipment! The event is split into 7 cycles (one per day), each consisting of two phases.

The Supply Phase

While the airship is grounded, all players in the guild can assign a party of Heroes (and a Champion) to increase the Airship’s Power. This new stat is calculated differently than regular Hero Power, but you can still expect your most powerful Heroes to contribute the most. Up to 5 boosters can also be assigned to further increase your party’s Airship Power! As dragons reward no components or XP, all boosters instead provide an Airship Power boost. This can be an opportunity to get use out of your most neglected boosters!

That’s not all though! Under the command of your Heroes are 10 brave, nameless and faceless Troopers. These guys can be equipped with 4 pieces of equipment each (40 total), increasing the Airship Power accordingly. Equipment given to Troopers is sold at full gold value, too. We’re not running a charity here.

The Assault Phase

Once the Supply Phase time runs out, the Airship will take off and, for the next 12 hours, mercilessly assault dragons with cannonballs. Your guild’s total accumulated Airship Power will slowly deplete the invading dragons’ HP and unlock rewards as they are defeated.

Once this phase is complete, the Airship will return to land and another supply phase will begin. Heroes that participated in the previous assault will need to rest, and a new squad of Troopers will need fresh equipment for the next wave!

The Dragon’s Hoard

This ultimate bin provides storage capacity for every single resource out there! Its capacity is lower than a regular bin, but it's a major boost overall! The Dragon’s Hoard initially holds only Common resources, but unlocks Uncommon resources at level 6 and Exotic resources at level 11.

It can only be earned from the Dragon Invasion event, and only one such bin can be owned, so treat it well!

Level 16+ Furniture

As mentioned above, it is now possible to upgrade furniture beyond level 15, provided you have enough Dragonmarks. Each upgrade requires Dragonmarks in addition to gold (or gems).

In addition to the usual benefits, some furniture gain a bonus effect at level 16 and above:

Resource Bins

+1% resource regen speed per level above 15.

Counter

+1% Max Energy per level above 15.

Dragonbane Cannonballs

These special boosters can only be used during the Dragon Invasion event and are exclusive to the Dragon Vault store. They’re stronger than regular boosters, so they can add an extra kick to an Airship assault!

Minor Changes

  • (Community request) Added a new Full Moon Fusion to create Repair Kits, costing 10 Golden Artifacts.

  • Following the Dragon Invasion, all future events will now begin at and end at 11am EDT.
