New Blueprint Lines - Meals & Desserts!

Meals and Desserts are here! Two delicious blueprint lines are now available to shopkeepers… just in time for the starving customers battering down your doors! Both of these item types can be equipped on Heroes and sold to customers as normal, but they also have a few unique rules.

New Workers - Cook & Baker!

Hailing from distant shores, Kaipo and Tutu Mano have brought with them many recipes, sometimes exotic, sometimes familiar.

Kaipo the Baker is the premium worker in charge of Desserts. These delicious treats can be yours, starting at level 21! His premium worker ability causes the sweet-toothed King Reinhold to visit your shop roughly twice as often!

Tutu Mano the Cook is a worker available to all players! She cooks Meals, and can be hired for Gold at Merchant level 40. Keep in mind you’ll need the Herbalist building at level 7 before she shows up!

Special Food Rules

I’m Hungry!

Something smells good in here! Can I get a burger?

So long as there is a food item somewhere on your shelves, customers may sometimes find themselves hungry and request a food item immediately after a sale. This means two sales for one customer!

This rule may also apply to a certain extravagant individual, as well…

Fresh out the Oven!

Food that is claimed shortly after the craft is complete will be considered Fresh! This takes the form of a free spirit enchantment (the Fresh Spirit). Fresh items are made easier to sell by slightly reducing their Surcharge energy cost.

Meals and Desserts sold by Kaipo and Tutu Mano are also guaranteed to be Fresh! They only bring the best, after all.

Fresh Spirit

Similar to the Mundra Spirit, this spirit cannot be crafted or found on other items. It is exclusive to Meals and Desserts crafted by Shopkeepers. Unlike the Mundra spirit however, the enchantment is not “locked in” and can be replaced if the user wishes.

Major Changes

Pet Food

Pet feeding has undergone some changes with the introduction of food items.

Pets now require food once per day (from twice per day). Superior and Premium Pet food (the gold and gem food) have been removed in favor of Meals and Desserts, which can now be fed to pets.

Free pet food now grants 150 pet XP (up from 25). Meals and Dessert grant pet XP scaling with their tier, quality, enchantments, and so on.

Dragon Invasion

After a few runs (and some feedback), we agree that Dragon Invasion is a bit too intensive, particularly for earlier players. We’ve tweaked a few values to better align it with our goals.

  • The Preparation Phase now lasts 20 hours, and the Assault phase 4 hours. This gives players more time to prepare their squads, and also means their Heroes are not busy as long.

  • The rest time for Heroes following an Assault Phase is now 4 hours. (down from 24 hours)

  • The event now lasts 5 days (down from 7 days). Score requirements were reduced proportionally to match this new event duration.

Minor Changes

  • Mundra can now sell Mundra items when visiting the player’s shop.

  • “Starter Pack” blueprints (Kunai, Companion Axe, etc) now require a player level of 35 before becoming available in the Antique Store, replacing the previous requirement of 3 months of age for the player’s account.

  • At the cost of those dusty Perfect Moonstones and some Bronze Fangs, it is now possible to fuse Basic Skill Die. Due to their “unlimited” nature, the worker level requirement is higher than the other dice fusions.

  • Added some small XP Drinks to the reward list of some later chests, as they are now relevant to lategame players due to the Mythic XP Drink fusion recipe.

Balance Changes

  • Hero classes can now learn the Mastery skill of any weapon they can use, including the gold ones.

  • Reduced the Gem rewards from the Tower of Titans event as they were significantly higher than every other event. Other rewards were increased slightly. Sorry!

King Schedule

The King will be available as a Champion from November 25th until the 28th.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed a few dysfunctional sorting filter options on the market.

  • Fixed an issue where Elemental Blueprints did not display their stats correctly on the market.

  • Fixed the Hard boss of Sun God’s Tomb dropping items of a much higher tier than intended. The new drops remain a bit higher tier than usual for posterity.

  • Fixed Guild Chat preview texts being right-aligned for some reason.

  • Fixed a bug causing Critical Hit to sometimes display above 100% (to no benefit).

  • Fixed the Suggest screen not retaining the filter last used by the player.
