How to create and link your account to Kabam Cross Connect

Kabam Cross Connect is a platform account that allows players to link their in-game Shop Titans account to a single external account that can be utilized both in and out-of-game. 

This link enables certain functionality for players, such as being able to easily recover their game progression by logging into Kabam Cross Connect when in-game, or allowing players to log into our webstore.

The following article will take you step-by-step on setting up your Kabam Cross Connect connection and how to log into this account.

How to create your Kabam Cross Connect account

1. Create or log into your Shop Titans player account

The Kabam Cross Connect account link connection process can only be started once you have an in-game Shop Titans player account created and have at least completed the tutorial.

2. Open the in-game Settings menu

Log into Shop Titans and then press the menu button at the top-right of your screen. Scroll down to and press the “Settings” option.

3. Open the Kabam Cross Connect modal

Press on the "Kabam Cross Connect" button, this will open a modal and start the connection process.

4. Enter your email address

In the provided input, enter in the email address you would like to link your Shop Titans account to and use as the login email address for your Kabam Cross Connect account. 

Please ensure you use an email address you will always retain access to. Once entered in and linked to your Shop Titans account, this email cannot be changed — even by our support team. We recommend not using email addresses provided by employers, governments or educational institutions.

5. Enter your verification code

A verification code will be emailed to the address you provided in the previous step. Enter this code into the provided input to verify you own this email address.

6. Enter your desired username

Enter a username for your Kabam Cross Connect account. Please note that this username is publicly exposed and should not contain sensitive information. As such, we recommend not using your email address, phone number or real name.

7. Connection complete

After the last six steps, your Kabam Cross Connect account should be successfully set up and linked to your Shop Titans account. Using your Kabam Cross Connect account you can now recover/link your game progression on other platforms (details on that below) and log into our webstore.

How to recover your game progression

1. Create a Kabam Cross Connect account

If you haven’t already, on your primary platform or device, follow the steps above this tutorial to learn how to create your Kabam Cross Connect account and link your game account to it.

2. Open the game

On the new platform or device you wish to recover, link or transfer your game progression to, start the Shop Titans application.

3a. Link through character creation screen

On the character creation screen, select the “Already have an account?” option below the “Play Now” button. This will start the connection process from this screen, allowing you to link your account without having to go through the tutorial.

Move onto Step 4.

3b. Link through Settings menu

If you prefer, or if you encounter issues when trying to link your account using the method described in Step 3b, you can link your account using the in-game Settings menu.

Note that this method requires you to play through the initial tutorial before gaining access to the Settings menu. Once you have completed the tutorial, press the menu button at the top-right of your screen, scroll down to and press the “Settings” option.

Press on the "Kabam Cross Connect" button.

Move onto Step 4.

4. Enter your email address

In the provided input, enter in the email address you used when you initially set up your Kabam Cross Connect account. 

5. Enter your verification code

A verification code will be emailed to the address you provided in the previous step. Enter this code into the provided input to verify you own this email address.

6. Confirm account

A modal will appear displaying your in-game Player ID and your current in-game Merchant Level. Use this information to verify you are recovering the correct account. Select “Yes” once you are sure.

7. Recovery complete

You should see a successful recovery prompt, press “Continue” and your in-game progression should now be loaded up and linked to the new platform or device.
